Welcome to Blue Ridge Audubon!
Blue Ridge Audubon is a chapter of the National Audubon Society, serving Buncombe, Henderson, and surrounding counties in the mountains of western North Carolina.
Our free program meetings, bird outings and special events are open to all -- members and non-members alike. We hope you'll join us!
ANNOUNCEMENTS
The Program Meeting with Jacob Drucker has been rescheduled to May 20th.
As Owen Park will probably be closed for quite some time, we will be finding alternate locations for outings on the third Saturday of the month for the foreseeable future. In April it will be at Lake Tomahawk in Black Mountain.
See our calendar for more details about outing locations and information.
We recently posted a new research and conservation grants program, see the Grants page for more details! The next application deadline is Aprill 11!

We are happy to announce that our Birdathon 2025 partner is SELVA Colombia. Our fundraiser will be for environmental education in Santa Maria, Boyacá to strengthen community engagement in bird tourism, restoration and protected area management
SELVA has been working in the municipality of Santa Maria, Colombia, since 2014, having found high densities of wintering Cerulean Warblers , as well as healthy populations of Canada Warbler, Acadian Flycatcher and other migrants that summer in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
