Plants for Birds Outings

Join us for Plants for Birds outings at Beaver Lake Bird Sanctuary!

See our Events Calendar for details.

These outings will focus on the native plants, trees, and shrubs that sustain the birds that visit our sanctuary. Randy Richardson will be your naturalist guide, highlighting blooming wildflowers and notable trees and shrubs, sharing anecdotes about each along with their role in supporting our avian visitors. No special equipment is needed, just bring your curiosity! Our new outing is already getting rave reviews from folks!

"What a wonderful inaugural plant walk we all enjoyed this past Saturday. I'm so glad this new walk has been established: I love birds but plants just as much!"
